The Reading Together Series of books has been produced as I was aware of the real need for more resources for young children to help them deal with difficult situations and at times of stress.

I have my own experiences of working with many children who have often been in difficult circumstances and are struggling to deal with their emotions and adjusting to change, and we often see this as a change in a childs behaviour and negative actions, which can cause them to be more anxious and emotional. 

My wish is that this series of books can help a child (even if it's just a little step!) to be able to cope with their emotions and share their thoughts with their trusted adult and ease the pain, to allow them to begin enjoying childhood again.

An Introduction to the Reading Together Series.

The First in the Series.

The first book to be published in this series is a gentle caring story about a little boy, who we are lovingly referring  to as 'Bertie', Who's Daddy dies of cancer.

This book walks through the journey with 'Bertie' as he tells us that Cancer can make you very poorly, and sometimes you don't get better.

This book encourages the child to discuss thoughts and emotions about someone they love dying.

This Series of books are intended for use by a Parent, Grandparent, Teacher or Counsellor, (or anyone caring for a child where they feel they are struggling with emotional difficulties in their lives).

The books are not intended for a child to read alone, but in a loving nurturing environment to enable the child to share their thoughts and feelings.

The books are intended for use with a child aged approximately 3-11 years.
